TGC Media is Atlanta’s leading provider of video production for corporate businesses. The company uses the latest in modern technology, but this brochure features a 50’s retro style as a play in contrast.
There’s a lot of information packed into this 4 page hand-out, so custom icons and infograophics help convey the messaging without being too wordy.
Bright colors, images of performers and lots of shiny new instruments help to generate interest in joining this successful middle school band program.
This tri-fold brochure is given to all interested graduating 5th graders as they prepare to select the activities they’ll join in middle school. The front cover is very colorful and shows students performing in a variety of settings. The inside features a full three page spread of a variety of musical instruments and asks the question “Which instrument will choose YOU?” (sort of like Harry Potter’s wand!), which conveys the philosophy of the director: that students will be a natural fit for certain instruments over others. Students get to try out all of the instruments and are tested for aptitude.
There’s also plenty of information for parents, to explain about how band works and what the expectations are. The back pages feature more information about the program itself and a bio of the director.
The third poster for this little league baseball team was one again a photo composite composition, this time featuring a spooky, moonlit night scene with pirate flair.
The image once again combines multiple images of the moon, jutting rocks cliffs, storm clouds, lightening and fog and reuses the cracked earth from the 2014 poster and the pirate ship from the 2015 image. All of the players were photographed separately striking multiple poses, then the best, most complimentary pics were chose and placed together for the final composition. Color adjustments and lighting effects were applied on all elements to bring the piece together.
The image served as a sponsor banner, and printed posters were given to each member of the team.
The SMP All Stars took a new name in 2015: the Hoover Pirates. This photo composite poster played heavily on the the pirate theme with parrots, a pirate ship and a chest full of bootie!
Multiple elements were chose to create a scene chocked full of classic pirate visuals. This time, the pirates have landed on the beach, framed by soaring rock cliffs, their ship anchored just off shore before the approaching storm. Fun “easter eggs” for the boys can be found throughout the image, from a lone shark swimming in shallow waters, one player striking the “Captain Morgan” pose, and a cannon with baseballs for shot. The name “Tommy” can be found written in script on the barrel, too. (The Pirate’s head coach is Tommy Cannon)
The images was used on the team’s sponsor banner, then printed as a keepsake poster for each team member.
This poster was designed to strike fear in the hearts of this seven-year-old baseball team’s opponents. It must have worked because they went undefeated and won their metro championship!
This is a photo composition combining multiple images of a stadium, sky and cracked earth to create the dramatic, stormy scorched earth setting. Each player was photographed individually, then composited together to create the final scene.
The image served as a sponsor banner, coaches plaques and as a poster for each member of the team.
